Web applicationswhen a website is no longer enough.
When the work outgrows spreadsheets and email, you build a tool that does exactly what you need. Not general-purpose software you have to fit into, but the other way round.
What you get
What we build.
It always starts with the smallest version that solves the real problem, and grows from there out of actual use.
Internal tools
What you do today across five spreadsheets nobody is allowed to touch.
- Records and job tracking
- Scheduling people and resources
- Approvals and workflows
- Reports that produce themselves
- Access rights by role
Client portals
The client sees the status, the documents and the invoices themselves, instead of calling.
- Login and access rights
- The status of an order or a case
- Documents and invoices
- Messages and notifications
- Connected to your own systems
A product for the market
If you are building a product to sell, the rules are different from an internal tool.
- The smallest version that can be sold
- Subscriptions and billing
- Several clients on one installation
- Usage measurement
- A growth plan that does not mean rebuilding the foundation
After handover
An application nobody maintains starts getting in the way after a year.
- Documentation and the code handover
- Backups and recovery
- Error monitoring
- An agreed turnaround for fixes
- A plan for further development
How it runs
How we work.
-
Phase 1
Understanding it
We sit with the people who do the work today. That is usually where it turns out half the requirements are not needed.
-
Phase 2
The smallest version
The part without which the tool is pointless. In use within weeks, not months.
-
Phase 3
Growth out of use
What gets added is what turns out to be missing, not what somebody imagined at the start.
-
Phase 4
Handover
The code, the documentation and the access are yours. Upkeep as agreed.
Who this is for
Who it works for, and who it does not.
It makes sense if:
- Your work has outgrown spreadsheets and email
- Off-the-shelf software does not do what you need
- You have someone who can explain how the work runs today
It does not make sense if:
- There is an off-the-shelf tool that solves ninety percent of it - then buying that is cheaper
- Nobody in the company has time to take part in the build
If we find an off-the-shelf tool that solves your problem for a tenth of the price, we will tell you. We lose the job, but we do not lose the client.
